David Wolff has been a paramedic since 1986 having worked in the public and private sector as a paramedic, owner and operator of one of the first private patient stretcher transportation companies in Ontario, and Director/Coordinator/Facilitator for an Ontario college Paramedic (PCP) Program. David has worked in Paramedic Management at all levels from Field Superintendent to Commander of QA, Commander of Training, and eventually Deputy Chief (A) and is certified as a CMM III EMS Executive. David completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Practice at Charles Sturt University in 2009, and a Master’s of Adult Education (MAdEd) at St. Francis Xavier University, NS in 2020 where he studied resiliency to PTSI through an educator’s lens. David is currently a full-time student in the Doctor of Education (EdD) in Community Care and Counseling: Traumatology Cognate at Liberty University, VA, USA. David is a Senior Fellow with the McNally Project, and a Research Appraiser for the Paramedic Evidenced-Based Practice (PEP) program at Dalhousie University, NS. David also serves as the chair of the Ontario Paramedic Association’s Wellness Committee. David has extensive experience with online education and currently serves as an Educational Consultant for Premergency Inc. as well as being the chief facilitator for Premergency’s successful postgraduate Community Paramedic Practitioner Training Program.
