Dr. Heather Hadjistavropoulos is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Regina, and Founder and Executive Director of the Online Therapy Unit, which has offered and evaluated Internet-delivered Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (ICBT) to over 10000 SK residents. She is also principal investigator of the Public Safety Personnel Internet-delivered Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (PSPNET) team responsible for the contribution agreement implementing and evaluating ICBT for public safety personnel. Dr. Hadjistavropoulos’ innovative work on ICBT has leveraged millions of dollars in funding from sources such as the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Saskatchewan Health Research Foundation, and Saskatchewan Centre for Patient-Oriented Research, Rx & D Health Research, Craig Neilson Foundation, Saskatchewan Ministry of Health and Public Safety Canada. Dr. Hadjistavropoulos is a Fellow of the Canadian Association of Cognitive Behavioural Therapies and the Canadian Psychological Association. She is an active member of the Collaborative for e-Mental Health (Mental Health Commission of Canada) and was awarded CAMH Difference Makers Award 150 Leading Canadians for Mental Health. Particularly noteworthy, Dr. Hadjistavropoulos has been highly successful in turning an initial research project into an established clinical service  While now running a digital mental health service, she maintains her commitment to research, education, collaboration, and consultation that is serving to strengthen digital mental health care in Canada. Dr. Hadjistavropoulos’ significant and innovative contributions make her a recognized leader in psychology and digital mental health in Canada and worldwide.
