Eliana is an Emeritus Associate Professor at Wilfrid Laurier University as well as an Adjunct Research Faculty. She received her PhD and MSW from the University of Toronto. Her research focuses on two broader areas , the intersection of trauma and resilience, and , how people survive and resist violence, in particular, political, sexual, and structural violence and the health consequences of such violence.
