Assistant Commissioner Serge Côté is the Executive Director of the Canadian Police College (CPC). Since 2018, he initiated an overhaul of the CPC service model to address the evolving training needs of the domestic and international community. His tenure at the CPC is preceded by a diversified portfolio of police experience. A Member of the Order of Merit for Police Forces (M.O.M.), Assistant Commissioner Côté has been serving with the RCMP since 1992. He worked in several Canadian regions and led various portfolios under front-line policing, federal investigations and national police services. Those have included general duty policing duties, drugs, national security and trans-border organized crime investigations. His leadership also guided important national and international projects and initiatives including the Canadian Air Carrier Protective Program, the Shiprider project and the national solution to update criminal records to CPIC in real time.
