Canadian Institute for Pandemic Health Education and Response
The Canadian Institute for Pandemic Health Education and Response (CIPHER) project, in collaboration with the Canadian Institute for Public Safety Research and Treatment (CIPSRT) and the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), successfully created a central hub to support nine distinct initiatives, all dedicated to assisting first responders, public safety personnel (PSP), healthcare workers (HCW), military personnel, Veterans, and their families. This collaborative effort focused on developing resources to enhance the mental health and wellbeing of these critical workers, particularly during and after the COVID-19 pandemic, recognizing them as a high-risk occupational group. Although the funding period has concluded, many valuable resources remain accessible.
