Janelle is very active as a volunteer with Ground Search and Rescue, dedicating more than 14,000 hours to SAR since 2007. Her home team is London Search and Rescue, she is the former president of Ontario Search and Rescue Volunteer Association, and she is currently the president of the Search and Rescue Volunteer Association of Canada. Representing over 9,000 volunteers on 300 teams from each province and territory, Janelle is committed to ensuring that all volunteers have access to resources that will benefit them so they can continue to dedicate their time to exemplifying the motto of search and rescue, “That Others May Live.”
